For the thirsty gods to drink
But the gods knew why they ordered baskets
As the bearer of sacrificial liquid emotions

Into the basket of the gods
And the gods have kept on watching and watching
To know which will first be sucked into the soil:
Those who weep or their tears, dropping into the baskets
Like speeding trains on a forever railway
